• Description:

  Ronchi di Pietro Pinot Grigio is located in the heart of the prestigious wine region of Colli Orientali del Friuli.  The towering Alps create a natural border with Slovenia and Austria to the northeast; to the east the Adriatic Sea laps up on the shores. This Pinot Grigio mirrors the unique winemaking style of Austria to the north.  This ideal combination of cool mountain air and warm sea breezes allows grapes to ripen gradually and evenly to perfection.

  Young winemaker, Fluvio Zorzettig macerates the grapes for 3 hours before pressing, giving the wine an amazing rose’ colored glow. Fermented in stainless steel, to preserve every bit of the fresh Alpine fruit.

  A blast of mountain air and kiss of freshly squeezed Meyer lemon juice mixes with honeydew melon in the mouth creating a brisk and refreshing combination. Citrus-infused sea mist and dry roasted almonds lead to a touch of white pepper and plenty of flinty stones that keep the flavors fresh and lively.

  Round, fruit forward and nutty, with plenty of mineral spark!
