Region: Piedmont.
Grape: Barbera 100%.
Ageing: 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Taste: The nose is quite intense, with dark cherries and cherry stones, liquorice root, flowers, smoke and vanilla, and a lovely layer of minerals.
The taste is of dried black cherry plums, raspberry, smoke, damp earth and mocha.
Medium plus body, concentration and acidity with light tannin., Leather, black berry, mocha and spice. Balanced with a long finish.
