Barbaresco is a DOCG wine from the villages of Barbaresco, Neive, Alba and Treiso.
The wines must be aged for a minimum of two years, one of which is in wood, three years for riserva.
While it is aged one year less than Barolo, Barbaresco, often referred to as Barolo's lighter cousin, is also known for power, depth and a potential to age.
