Giacche' Passito

This raisin wine is obtained by the local “giacchè” grapes which are cultivated since ancient times in Caere Vetus.

Its subtle palate-refining aftertaste evokes the cosy atmosphere and the magnificence of the Etruscan banquets during which the local wines compared with those of the Mediterranean coasts.

The “giacchè passito” wine is obtained by vine-branch strangling so that the normal lymph flux is interrupted and all the aromatic and sugary characteristics of the first part of the grape maturation remain unchanged.
