'Soll '- Pinot Grigio


Region: Trentino - Alto Adige.

Grape: 100% Pinot Grigio

Alcohol Percent: 14%.

Ageing: 20% of the wine is aged in barrique, with a total of 6 months on the lees.

Taste:  This beautiful light straw-yellow wine is ripe with pear and hazelnut, honeydew melon and a hint vanilla. The wine is round and smooth on the palate with light undertones of wood on the finish.
What the Wine Spectator says about the 2006 Soll: 'Shows lemon and mango aromas, with hints of mineral. Medium- to full-bodied, with mineral and citrus fruit flavors and a crisp finish...'

      This wonderful pinot grigio is a wine from the single vineyard “Soll”; a southeastern facing slope above the town of Tramin at 450 to 500 meters above sea level.
