Ca’ di Frara is run by Luca and Matteo Bellani, the third generation to produce unique wines from this land. Luca and Matteo’s difference in character complement one another perfectly: Matteo's practical skill in the vineyard and in the cellar is matched by Luca’s wisdom and precision in the cellar. They commonly share the pure, simple spirit of great winemakers that adhere to a single rule: devoting oneself to the preservation of the local environment in which they live while continually creating great wines from their magnificent vineyards.

Croatina (Bonarda) is a mysterious grape. Its origins are unknown but believed to have origins in the heart of Italy. The Croatina (Bonarda) grape is now grown all over the world, a variety known to produce low tannin, high-impact food-friendly wine. Fermented completely in stainless steel to preserve every bit of freshness from a perfectly harvested, low-yielding crop. 30% of this wine is aged in French oak barriques for 4 months before blending and bottle aging.
